Man handles macaw parrot, close up of Amazon parrot, boy and sloth on dock, man with very small monkey in hand. Tilt across huge government building, curvey mosaic sidewalk patterns. Rubber tapping, rubber dripping from tree. Pan across open market and crowds, market with bananas. Village with ocean background, faces (human). Pan across waterfront, boats leaving waterfront, boats are towed by barge upriver. Boat arriving at dock with people waiting, various Westerners, western doctor talks to natives. Shots from boat along Amazon, birds. Freighter ship at dock, cargo unloaded with cables, barrels are lifted by crane from cargo hold of ship (good), workers load boxes of cargo, man at helm of ship turning wheel (good), workers carry loads across boards to ship, heavy loads. Farm, men drying fish, strange animals from rain forest on dock eating, sloth tied up for sale on dock. Aerial over Belem. Cruise ship at dock, crane lifts cargo from ship's hold, workers unloading and stacking bags of something, faces of workers. High angle over canoes filled with fruit, man unloads pineapples, open market pan across. The open road with modern building tilt up Ilha De Marajo, aerials over region.
